So far, we’ve seen two out of the three members of the Holy Trinity 2.0. The Ferrari F80 debuted as the successor to the Ferrari LaFerrari, while the W1 replaced the P1. Naturally, both have powerful turbocharged engines, helped along by electricity, which is the same formula used for the OG members of the crew. Sadly, Porsche sat this one out. It showcased the Mission X hypercar a few years ago and said that it would be going into production, but it looks like the car is turning out to be a Mission Impossible. Porsche’s prediction was a bit off, and now it doesn’t have a hypercar to complete the set, which brings us to the doorstep of Aston Martin.
Not only does the Valhalla have the coolest name ever, but it also meets all the criteria. It has a twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG-sourced V8 that produces 817 hp, and with some added electricity, that figure jumps to 1,064 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque. That puts it in the same sort of ballpark as the 1,184-hp Ferrari and 1,285-hp W1. It’s arguably the best looking of the bunch, and you can order one in a bright purple hue called Digital Violet. That’s proper hypercar stuff. So, what do you think? Now that Porsche missed the bus, is the Aston Martin Valhalla allowed to occupy the spot left open in the Holy Trinity 2.0?
