You’ve finally found the ideal new car, but it doesn’t have a perfect crash-safety rating – would you still buy it?

Unless there is some particularly glaring safety issue, yes, I’d still buy a new car with an “acceptable” safety rating. The vast majority of new cars can be deemed safe, and crash tests can’t 100% predict how any car will perform in a real-world crash test, where many more variables are at play. How important are car safety ratings to you?
