A leak that appears to come from Dearborn’s local UAW office says the 2026 Mustang GT500 enters production this year, and it’ll have a new engine called ‘Legend.’ With the Mustang GTD delivering 810 hp (and loads of aero), how much should the GT500 have? Should it remain a track weapon, or should it become a Challenger Demon-like monster that aims to outgun even the 1,064-hp Corvette ZR1?
